A few years back, we made a small run of Harling’s shirts for friends. The response was unexpected. People wanted one. People who hadn’t thought about Harling’s in years suddenly had something tangible that brought it back.
Harling’s Upstairs opened in 1979, tucked above Main Street, and became one of those places that quietly worked its way into people’s lives, a Kansas City go-to for good craic and cheap drinks.
So we decided to make them available to the public.
This is the first official release, and quantities are intentionally limited. If the demand is good, we will run these continuously.
You can find the shirts in the Shop section of the site.
And if wearing one sparks a memory, a conversation, or a story, that feels like the right outcome.
Thanks for keeping Harling’s alive — one memory, one shirt, one story at a time.
Sláinte.
